Audiology
Audiology is the scientific field concerned with the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing and hearing loss. Audiologists use a variety of tests to determine the causes and degrees of hearing loss and, based on these findings, recommend appropriate treatment options for individuals with hearing impairment.Audiologists also perform evaluations for patients with hearing and balance problems using specialized tests scheduled in line with programs set by ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialists.
The Audiology Department plays a key role in the management of treatments such as hearing aids, cochlear implants, other assistive listening devices, and rehabilitation programs.
At our center, tests are performed by our specialists to determine hearing levels in adults and infants and to detect any existing hearing loss.
